Nanijee

Sometime even though we do mistake inadvertantly, unconsciously but we get severe physical and mental punishment. The agony of punisment is even high if our own inner self punish us.
I am writing about a small incidence which happend at least 6 months back, you can imagine that even after such a long period how that incident haunts me.
I called home and my mother told me that Nanijee(mom's mother) is not well, she is suffering very much especially because of old age(ard 70 yrs). Last time I met Nanijee 4 yrs back and after that I never get a chance to meet her(In last three yrs I have managed to live only 20-25 days with my parents, this is the cost I am paying for studied at a big institute and working in a company). I have a great respect for her not because she loves me more but because there are many things which we can learn from her. I would only say that even at this stage she is more enthusiastic, responsible, energetic, courageous than ladies of her daughter's age.
so after talking with Mom, I came to know that Nanijee is at my Mausi's(mom's sister) place and I called there. I will not say that because I love, respect Nanijee very much(I love certainly) and that's why I got worried and so called to talk her. Only reason I can tell you(you may laugh or may criticize my attitude) is that I wanted to give pleasure, happiness to all the old age persons first then the generation next to me, then previous generation people and then to my generation. I know I can't do many things to please them but whatever I can I wanted to do that.
So First I talked with Mausijee and then started talking with Nanijee, her voice was very low and I could hear even now that she first asked that "Khush hai na" (you are happy na) then "yaad karta hai na hume"(Whether I remember or not ?)(I am not able to understand how she will be affected if I will remember or forget her). Then she told me that "Mujhe jaldi hi jana hai"(she has to go very soon) I replied no no Nanijee you have to attend my wedding and lots of other things you have to do. I said very clearly and little loudly to show my affection and bring down the sad situation which I was imaginating and had created based on my conversation with my mom. After this she said very calmly that "Nahi nahi main Sahtha(Home) jane ki baat kar rahi hoon"(no no I am talking about going to home). My tounge got stuck at its own place and I don't remember what I said after that.
I pray for her long life, and also wish that she forget atleast this thing whenever I met her.

God

A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and
his beard trimmed. As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation.
They talked about so many things and various subjects.
When they eventually touched on the subject of God,
the barber said: "I don't believe that God exists."
"Why do you say that?" asked the customer.
"Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't exist.
Tell me, if God exists, would there be so
many sick people? Would there be abandoned children?
If God existed, there would be neither
suffering nor pain. I can't imagine loving a God
who would allow all of these things."

The customer thought for a moment, but didn't
respond because he didn't want to start an argument.
The barb er finished his job and the customer left the
shop. Just after he left the barbershop, he saw a
man in the street with long, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard.
He looked dirty and unkempt.
The customer turned back and entered the barber shop
again and he said to the barber:
"You know what? Barbers do not exist."
"How can you say that?" asked the surp rised barber.
"I am here, and I am a barber. And I just worked on you!"
"No!" the customer exclaimed. "Barbers don't exist
because if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and
untrimmed beards, like that man outside."

"Ah, but barbers DO exist! What happens is, people do not come to me."
"Exactly!"- affirmed the customer. "That's the point! God, too, DOES exist!
What happens, is, people don't go to Him and do not
look for Him. That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world."

This is it. What do u think ?
